What We Do
The following is an overview of the core services we offer. We have experience in a range of projects of varying scales and typologies, so for anything else, just ask.
Brief & Feasibility
We offer an initial complimentary meeting to discuss your aspirations, brief and budget for the project. Once appointed, we'll come round and carry out a measured survey of your property and site. We'll produce a set of existing drawings that are required as part of the planning application. We also use these as a base to begin our design process.
Concept & Design Development
We begin with your brief and tailor the design around your lifestyle and how you want to use the space. We test a range of layouts and consider the use of natural light, high quality, well-crafted materials, and views into and through the scheme. These are based on your needs and design aspirations and unique to your project. We use drawings, digital 3D models, renders and walkthroughs so you can clearly visualise the proposals we present to you.
Once you're happy with your chosen layout and design, we'll complete and compile all necessary drawings, documents and forms required for your planning application. We'll consult and co-ordinate with the councils' planning department and all other third parties on your behalf. We have tonnes of experience dealing with the planning department so you can be confident we'll get your scheme approved.
Building Regulations and Technical Design
After gaining planning approval for your project, we'll produce drawings for building regulation compliance. We'll appoint and co-ordinate with structural engineers and building control/approved inspectors on your behalf. We'll produce technical construction drawings for bespoke elements as required. We can advise on and produce specifications giving you maximum cost certainty moving forward to the tender process and engaging with contractors.
Tender Process & Contract Administration
We'll produce a tender package and invite contractors to submit prices for your project. Upon review of the submissions and selection of a contractor, we can prepare your building contract and administer it throughout the construction phase to make sure it's delivered to the highest standard, on time, and within budget.
