We knew some things we wanted to achieve but weren't clear about what was likely to be possible with planning, or how to get the different changes we needed to work together.

 

Chris' approach worked really well for us. He spent time with us in our home and sharing ideas online, finding out about how we lived and worked, and what we wanted. It's been easy working with him and we feel he 'gets' us, our interests and what we're looking for. He produced a range of great concepts for the house, each of which was a really imaginative solution.

 

He has great vision and an eye for detail, creating some really beautiful features in the drawings we have gone with. "We spoke to a number of architects before choosing Chris for my single storey kitchen extension. We gave him my very rough ideas of what I wanted and he was clearly engaged, very open and gave us a detailed breakdown of the process, each of the stages and the cost for each.

 

He also came back with a number of designs including an idea for a roof lantern which we frankly hadn't considered but now love. Everything was very thorough and detailed and the designs went through planning permission with no issues.

 

Although the build was delayed quite a while for scheduling reasons, Chris remained very responsive all the way through when we needed clarifications for the builders. We're delighted with the finished results."
